Join Bianca Green, Founder of CU at Monday Mahjong, as she introduces you to the fundamentals of American Mahjong in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether you've never seen a Mahjong tile before or have always wanted to learn, Bianca will guide you through everything you need to confidently begin playing.

Throughout the evening, you'll learn the tiles, the National Mah Jongg League® card, the Charleston, basic game play, strategy, and Mahjong etiquette while enjoying guided hands-on instruction every step of the way. Arrive early and make it an evening!

Our wine bar and café will be open before class, so you're welcome to relax with a glass of wine, a handcrafted cocktail, a refreshing mocktail, or a freshly roasted organic coffee before the lesson begins.

We'll also be serving complimentary fresh bread with Grovestone's premium extra virgin olive oils, barrel-aged balsamic vinegars, signature bread dipping seasonings, and additional gourmet tastings throughout the evening.

Group Registration & Seating

American Mahjong is played with four players per table.

If you're registering with friends, we recommend that everyone in your group registers at the same time to help ensure your entire party can attend before the class sells out.

Seating is first come, first seated. We encourage guests to arrive early if they'd like to sit with friends. While we'll do our best to accommodate seating requests, they cannot be guaranteed.

About the Class

This beginner-friendly class provides live instruction, guided hands-on play, and all Mahjong equipment needed during the lesson. No experience is necessary. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy wine, cocktails, mocktails, coffee, and Grovestone's complimentary gourmet tastings before class begins. Must be 21 years of age.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional charge. Please email store1001@grovestone.com with the name and email address of the new attendee before the class begins.

If Grovestone cancels or reschedules the event, guests will receive the option of a full refund or credit toward a future event.
