You know the basics, now it’s time to actually play.

Table Ready is designed for players who have already learned the fundamentals of American Mahjong but want more practice, more guidance, and more confidence at the table.

Join Jennifer Liagridonis for a relaxed, interactive class focused on turning what you learned in Mahjong 101 into real game play. We’ll review the rules and fundamentals, refresh anything that still feels a little fuzzy, and then spend the majority of the class playing guided hands together.

Jennifer will be there throughout the game to answer questions, talk through decisions, reinforce the rhythm and flow of play, and help you become more comfortable knowing what to do when it’s your turn.

This is your Mahjong confidence-building class . The more you play, the more everything begins to click—and before long, you’re no longer just learning Mahjong. You’re playing it.

Our wine bar and café will be open before class, so you're welcome to arrive early and relax with a glass of wine, a handcrafted cocktail, a refreshing mocktail, or a freshly roasted organic coffee before class begins.

✨ Reserve your seat early! This class is intentionally limited so Jennifer can provide plenty of guidance and individual attention during play.

Group Registration & Seating

American Mahjong is played with four players per table .

If you're registering with friends, we recommend that everyone in your group registers at the same time to help ensure your entire party can attend before the class sells out.

Seating is first come, first seated. We encourage guests to arrive early if they'd like to sit with friends. While we'll do our best to accommodate seating requests, they cannot be guaranteed.

If a table does not have four players, participants may be combined with other guests so everyone has the opportunity to practice and play.

About the Class

This class provides live instruction, review, guided hands-on play, and all Mahjong equipment needed during the lesson.

Participants should already have a basic understanding of American Mahjong before attending. This class is designed to provide the repetition, guidance, and practice needed to become more comfortable playing a complete game.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy wine, cocktails, mocktails, coffee, and Grovestone's complimentary gourmet tastings before class begins.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds or credits . If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional charge. Please email store1001@grovestone.com with the new attendee's name, phone number, and email address before the class begins.
