Join us for an evening of American Mahjong Open Play at Grovestone, a relaxed social experience designed for players who already know the game and are ready to play.

Gather your friends, bring your Mahjong group, or come meet fellow Mahjong enthusiasts. Enjoy friendly competition, great conversation, complimentary tastings, and the welcoming atmosphere of Grovestone while you play.

Please note: This is OPEN PLAY, not a class. No formal instruction will be provided. Guests should already have a basic understanding of American Mahjong and be comfortable playing independently.

Seating & Table Assignments

American Mahjong is traditionally played with four players per table, and we will do our best to create four-person tables whenever possible.

Because this is an open-play event, however, we understand that plans can change and occasionally a registered guest may be unable to attend. If a table does not have four players, guests may occasionally find themselves playing at a table with two or three players until additional players are available.

We appreciate your flexibility and understanding. Our goal is to make sure everyone has an opportunity to play, socialize, and enjoy the evening—even when attendance changes unexpectedly.

Attending with Friends?

If you would like to play with specific friends, we strongly recommend purchasing all four seats together or reserving a Table for Four. If guests register separately, please include the names of the people you'd like to sit with in the Order Notes at checkout or email us at store1001@grovestone.com before the event.

We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate seating requests, but specific table assignments and four-person tables cannot be guaranteed.

Seating is first come, first seated, so guests are encouraged to arrive early if they wish to sit with friends.

Cancellation Policy

All registrations are final.

There are no refunds or event credits.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional charge. Please email store1001@grovestone.com with the new guest's name, phone number, and email address before the event begins.
