Join us for an unforgettable evening at Grovestone as we celebrate the vibrant flavors of Cuba with a romantic five-course cooking demonstration, perfectly paired with hand-selected wines.

Our chef will guide you through a menu full of bold, soulful dishes from Velvety Black Bean Soup to Cuba’s national treasure, Ropa Vieja all infused with Grovestone’s signature oils, balsamics, and seasonings. Each course is paired with wines chosen to complement and elevate every bite.

Sit back, sip, and enjoy as we bring each dish to life in front of you, sharing techniques, ingredients, and stories along the way.

Menu:

Velvety Black Bean Soup
A Cuban classic simmered with Grovestone Lime Olive Oil, garden vegetables, and a touch of Sicilian Lemon Balsamic. Finished with our signature Smoky Citrus Sea Salt and fresh garnishes.
Paired with Albariño – crisp, citrusy, and refreshing to balance the beans.

Havana Garden Salad with Balsamic-Roasted Pineapple
Crisp greens layered with fire-roasted pineapple, red peppers, and red onions. Tossed in a tropical coconut balsamic vinaigrette with a kiss of Jalapeño Sea Salt.
Paired with Albariño – bright acidity enhances the sweet pineapple and tangy vinaigrette.

Roasted Pork Cuban Sliders with Dill Pickle Mustard
Tender roasted pork and smoky ham with melted Swiss on golden rolls brushed with Grovestone Butter Olive Oil, garlic, and Everything Bagel Seasoning. Finished with zesty Dill Pickle Mustard.
Paired with Garnacha – juicy red fruit and spice balance the richness of the pork.

Ropa Vieja
Cuba’s national dish: slow-cooked beef in a rich tomato, pepper, and wine sauce until melt-in-your-mouth tender.
Paired with Garnacha – ripe fruit and gentle tannins elevate the slow-braised beef.

Zesty Lime Mojito Tart
A silky lime custard infused with Sicilian Lemon Balsamic, fresh mint, and rum in a graham cracker crust. Topped with whipped cream, lime wedges, and mint.
Paired with Moscato d’Asti – lightly sparkling, delicately sweet, and refreshing.

Wine Tasting

About the Classes:  Each class teaches tasty techniques and food preparation along with providing a tasting of each dish prepared. We will also provide wine tastings with selected dishes. Must be 21 years of age.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds! To receive credit for a future cooking class, a one-week notice is required with a $10 processing fee. Requests must be emailed to loui@grovestone.com.
